Why You’ll Find the YWCA at Freya Fair

Saturday, June 27th, at Dragon’s Gate Brewery in Milton Freewater, YWCA Walla Walla is excited

to partner with Freya Fair, a women-centered music festival celebrating the talent, creativity,

and voices of women across the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by the spirit of Lilith Fair, Freya Fair

brings together musicians, artists, vendors, and families, and community members for an all-day

celebration of connection and creativity.

You’ll find the YWCA on-site from 1 to 9 p.m. with an information table, giveaways, and our

bottle recycling station, helping festival goers learn more about the programs and services that

strengthen our community every day.

At first glance, a music festival and a local YWCA may seem like an unexpected partnership.

But it makes sense.

For more than a century, YWCA has worked to create opportunities for women, support

leadership, build community, and ensure people have the resources they need to thrive. Freya

Fair shares many of those same values by creating space for women artists to be seen, heard,

and celebrated. The festival highlights female musicians and creators while building a

welcoming, family-friendly community gathering.

Strong communities need more than housing, childcare, and support services. They also need

art. They need music. They need places where people can gather, express themselves, and

discover the talents of their neighbors.

When we invest in local artists, musicians, and creators, we invest in a stronger community for

everyone.

We hope you’ll stop by our booth, say hello, learn more about YWCA programs, and enjoy a

day of music and creativity. Most of all, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating the talented women

who help make our region such a vibrant place to live.

Tickets are available at freyafair.org or at the gate.
