A Community Gathered in Leadership, Purpose, and Hope
The YWCA Leadership Luncheon brought together an extraordinary community of supporters, advocates, and leaders united by a shared commitment to advancing equity, safety, and opportunity for women and families in our region. More than a luncheon, the event was a powerful reminder of what is possible when a community chooses to lead with courage, compassion, and collective action.
This year’s luncheon was made possible through the dedication of countless individuals whose generosity and hard work shaped every detail of the day. From sponsors and table captains to volunteers, board members, donors, and staff, the event reflected the strength of a community deeply invested in the mission of the YWCA.
Guests were welcomed into a space intentionally created for connection, reflection, and inspiration. The program honored the enduring impact of the YWCA while also looking toward the future — one grounded in collaboration, leadership development, and continued investment in services that support survivors, families, and our broader community.
The event’s success was fueled by the leadership and generosity of many. Special appreciation goes to the Board of Directors for their unwavering support, to donor development co-chairs Amy and Danni and the luncheon committee for months of thoughtful planning and coordination, and to the many board members who served as table captains, reached out to sponsors, welcomed guests, and stayed long after the event concluded to help with clean-up and connection.
The luncheon also highlighted the deep care and professionalism of the YWCA team behind the scenes. Countless hours were spent answering calls, managing registrations and donations, preparing materials, coordinating logistics, setting up the event space, and ensuring every guest felt welcomed and valued. The seamless experience reflected an extraordinary level of commitment and teamwork.
Throughout the event, speakers and presenters shared stories and reflections that grounded the gathering in both purpose and possibility. Their warmth, honesty, and leadership invited attendees to reflect on the importance of investing in one another and sustaining the work that strengthens our community every day.
A meaningful moment of the luncheon centered on honoring past leadership while inviting renewed investment in the future. The YWCA’s Leadership Circle, which has supported both the luncheon and the organization’s essential work for more than two decades, was recognized as an enduring example of community-driven philanthropy. As the organization looks ahead, this season of transition also offers an opportunity to thoughtfully refresh and strengthen the Leadership Circle for the next generation of supporters and advocates.
