New Director of Client Services, Tammy Stream, grew up in Walla Walla before moving to southern California.
After returning home in the last decade, she went back to school and graduated from Walla Walla University with a master’s degree in social work (MSW).
She has worked at Providence St. Mary’s Medical Center and in other medical and legal social work settings.
In these positions she gained experience with families and veterans dealing with anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, and trauma.
Her hope is to continue building a strong advocacy team to serve YWCA clients in the Walla Walla Valley.
She is crazy about her adult children and enjoys traveling to see them. She also loves outdoor sports activities including snow skiing, walking, and golf.
